Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches you how to deal with emergencies that are immediately life threatening.. You will focus on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure you have the knowledge, understanding and confidence to use your skills.
Appointed Person at Work 1/2 Day Course
Basically an appointed person is someone who is chosen to take charge when someone is injured or falls ill, including calling an ambulance if required and to look after the first-aid equipment, eg restocking the first-aid box.
HSE First Aid at Work 4 Day Course
A comprehensive four day course covering a wide range of first aid emergencies and how to deal with them. This enables you to qualify to the level of First Aider for the workplace meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
HSE First Aid at Work 2 Day Refresher Course
This course is suitable for anyone who needs to renew and update their statutory first aid at work certificate, providing their existing first aid at work certificate is valid at the beginning of the course.
Care for Children 2 Day Course
First Aid for Child Carers (Paediatric First Aid) is a 12-hour basic training course especially for people who care for children in any setting.
HSE First Aid for Schools 1 and 4 Day Courses
A First Aider must hold a valid certificate of competence, issued by an organisation whose training and qualifications are approved by the Health and Safety Executive.
Manual Handling Course 1/2 Day Course
The Health and Safety At Work Act 1974 and The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require that appropriate consideration be given to protect workers and prevent accidents in the work place.
First Aid Instructor Courses
This is where we teach you to become a recognised First Aid Instructor. Initially you will be able to conduct the standard 1 day First Aid Course which conforms to the HSE Appointed Person requirement, Care for Children Courses (Ofsted recognised), Manual Handling Courses, and incorporate Oxygen Administration and AED use.
